The picture shows a standard Northern Ireland army look-out post, in black and white, planted into a collage that mixes bits of foreign cities and film sets.

Sean Hillen says, ‘I was taking the bus from Belfast to Derry in order to take photographs at one of the hunger-strikers’ funerals, and where the bus, on the motorway passes Long Kesh/The Maze there were, shockingly, a series of these observation/shooting posts half buried in the ditches.’
