Jean McConville who was made to disappear from Divis Tower, had a pair of red shoes. I thought, in memory, to put a large red shoe on the tower. The ‘green badge’ relates to the house of Divis, one of four houses, the pupils at my former school were separated into. This is linked to the life and times of St Patrick.
