This piece is designed around the idea of a prison visiting box. It is a small room with black-draped walls; after entering alone the viewer sits at a table. He/she is confronted with a rusted steel plate etched with a security map of the Maze Prison. At the lower end of the steel plate is a letterbox sized peep hole. When the viewer looks through this they see a bird’s nest inside a barred steel cage. In a panel to the left is a small peep hole through which a web cam watches everything. On the right panel is another steel plate with the etched hand prints of family groups.
