Burnt Door from North Belfast Community center after being firebombed numerous times. The door was mounted on a heavily stone-textured surface. A rainbow fire-like image seen behind the charred door emerges from the bottom of the door becoming three steps on to the gallery floor; a visual invitation to step up and behind the community door.

Joseph McWilliams used the real firebombed door of a community centre to show that the damage people see and disregard, because of its familiarity, should be shocking.
