Bronze statuette of a woman violently blown over by a bomb blast. Her arms and legs stretched out as she is forced through the air with no control over her movements.

Attacks during the Troubles often resulted in members of the public being caught in the crossfire. This piece highlights the effect that it had particularly on women, the powerful force mutilating and rendering their bodies helpless as a result of the impact.
