A drama, in which a French documentary crew follow a Catholic family and their Protestant counterparts in Belfast during the days leading up to the death of Bobby Sands.

The Hunger Strikes protest was one of the pinnacle events of the Troubles. It prompted the IRA to support political action, a decision which led in time to the peace process. The protest received intense international attention.
