Healing Wounds

© By Alastair MacLennan

This performance took place outside Art and Research Exchange, on Lombard Street and between there and Corn Market, Belfast, distributing statements on ” Healing Wounds” to passersbys, while wearing pages of Catholic and Protestant newspapers, to indicate even-handedness, while advocating the importance of Holistic thinking.

It seemed appropriate to talk directly, with people on the street, about the dangers of binary, oppositional thinking with regard to it’s precipitating (and maintaining) layered conflict… and the benefits of ‘holistic’ thinking with regard to it’s evolving conflict’s dissolution.
