Manifestation

The juxtaposition of the Falls/Shankill peace wall with the perimeter wall of the Maze Prison goes right back to my core theme. The peace wall is a concrete manifestation of the barriers that exist in our minds – it is the physical result of differing cultural identities and viewpoints. It looks more like a prison wall than the real prison wall does.
