A pair of boys shoes are awash in blood. Standing above is the lower part of a sinister black overcoat and heavy black shoes. Underneath is inscribed Omagh 15hl3 Saturday 15.8.98 and a poem:
‘Orange and Green it does not matter. United now don’t shatter/ our dream. Scatter/ the seed of peace over our land/ so we can travel hand in hand/ across the bridge of hope.’
Sean McLoughlin 12 years of age died 15hl3 15.8.98
Farrell’s final works, produced just a few months before his death in June 2000, was a tribute to the people killed in the bombing of Omagh by the Real IRA in August 1998.
